Eucalyptus ssp. 

Eucalyptus is a powerful antiseptic herb. It makes a stimulating and antibacterial gargle that may be useful for those struggling with frequent tonsillitis or gum disease. It also has cardiac stimulant properties, and has been used to prevent malaria. The essential oil of eucalyptus is great for congestion and other respiratory complaints: mix it with a carrier oil and apply to the chest and feet, or use it in a steam.
