Wormwood has a long use as an aromatic bitter to stimulate digestion and promote healthy appetite. Its name was inspired by its ability to expel worms, especially roundworms and pinworms. Wormwood may also ease the pain of musculoskeletal issues, such as sprains and bruises, rheumatism, and joint pains.
