White Oak Bark

Quercus Alba 

White oak bark is an astringent herb with a high tannin content, useful for helping to tone “depressed” tissue states. It has both pain relieving and antimicrobial properties, making it a great herb for wounds and ulcers. It is a traditional remedy for diarrhea, especially when combined with aromatic astringents such as cinnamon. White oak also makes an excellent gargle for gum health, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, and laryngitis.
