Taurus is a sensual earth sign ruled by the planet Venus. Taurus season is verdant spring, when the lushness of the natural world begins to show itself again. This grounded and earthy sign represents our physical body and how we nourish and care for it. The ruling planet Venus is ritual oriented and represents beauty, earthly pleasures, our senses, and abundance. The Moon is exalted in the sign of Taurus, and this emphasizes the importance of nourishment to this zodiac sign. The steady, stable, strong-willed and stubborn bull is the animal associated with Taurus, as a fixed (note: stubborn) sign. Ritual and routine is a valuable tool for the earthy Taurus sign, although watch out for monotony and inflexibility!

Yarrow offers protection. Black Pepper and Peppermint add sparks of fire to balance the earth of Taurus.

To use: Light a charcoal made for burning incense.  Sprinkle incense over the hot charcoal, brush off ash as incense burns. Continue to sprinkle more incense as desired until the charcoal burns down. Not for internal use.
