Hemidesmus indicus- Sassafras Tincture
Indian sarsaparilla is widely used in Ayurvedic medicine as an alterative, demulcent, diaphoretic, diuretic and blood purifier. It is a cooling herb that helps to alleviate pain during UTIs or cystitis. Due to its blood-cleansing properties, it is often used in formulas for skin complaints, such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and dandruff. Ayurvedic tradition holds that sarsaparilla roots will transport the user through the four gates of dreaming and into deeper states of sleep. It may be used to aid in lucid dreaming, particularly for those who already have some lucid-dreaming experience. Ayurvedic healers have also prescribed it to those suffering from low libido and sexual impotence.
