Hyssopus officinalis 

Hyssop contains the same bitter volatile oil found in horehound, making it another great herb for expelling mucous and relieving coughs. It gently helps to open airways, clear mucous, and soothe the mucous membranes. It has been a traditional remedy for asthma, and has long been used as a gargle to ease sore throats and combat infection.
