Collinsonia canadensis- Stoneroot Tincture
Stone root is calming, antispasmodic, astringent, tonic, diaphoretic, and diuretic. It considered drying and neutral-to-cooling. It assists in blood flow by alleviating blood vessel contraction, strengthening vein walls, and reducing blood pooling. It is used for various circulatory complaints, including hemorrhoids, cold hands and feet, poor digestion, and mental fatigue. This herb was once known as a cure for “minister’s sore throat," or the throat pain and hoarseness that plagues those who overexert their voices. It works on other mucous membranes as well, and can be useful for soothing the gut and urinary tract.
