Bupleurum chinese  

Known as chai hu in traditional Chinese medicine, bupleurum helps to expel pathogens, making it effective for combating viruses and building immunity. It is indicated during liver depression, blood deficiency, and spleen complaints with symptoms of irregular menstruation, pain in the breasts, blood deficiency, pain in the rib area, listlessness, poor appetite, and wiry empty pulse. TCM practitioners also consider it useful for sinking of the middle qi that causes distention of the abdomen or lasting diarrhea.
