Boric Acid Powder

Boric acid’s primary medicinal benefit lies in its antifungal and antibacterial properties. It is used externally to treat a wide variety of ailments, including fungal infections such as athlete’s foot and yeast infections. Some folks capsule boric acid and use it as a suppository for vaginal yeast infections. Some find their tissues too sensitive for this treatment- if you wish try it, we recommend that you start with an external spot test and immediately rinse off with cool water if you experience burning. Boric acid has also been diluted in water for the treatment of eye infections.
