Matcha is such a vibrant green and antioxidant-rich plant to sip on and add to your favorite mocktail collection. I love adding coconut milk or oat milk to this blend to make it extra creamy. Some like it hot, some like it iced. They are both yummy options all year round! You may want to double this recipe for a bigger cup. This recipe makes about 12 ounces.
Matcha powder is made up of very finely ground young green tea leaves. It has a rich history in Japanese tea ceremonies and is an easy, tasty way to add health benefits to your diet. Matcha powder is packed with antioxidants and helps boost metabolism. It is also rich in vitamin C, selenium, chromium, zinc, and magnesium.

Joining Matcha, this recipe contains some of our favorite adaptogenic herbs: Ashwagandha and Maca. Ashwagandha is widely used in Ayurvedic medicine, and its benefits range from restoration of overall balance and vitality to increased cognitive function, reduced stress and anxiety, and better sleep. Maca root was first used by the ancient Incans to promote energy, stamina, and athletic performance. It is great for boosting libido and energy in people of any sex. Maca is also high in protein, natural sugars, iron, potassium, iodine, magnesium, calcium, and fiber.
Let’s get started on making our Matcha Latte:
Here’s what you will need:
- 12oz of coconut milk or milk of choice
- 2 teaspoons of Matcha powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Ashwagandha powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Maca powder
- Honey or maple syrup to taste
- A blender or a frothing wand
To Make Your Own: Iced Matcha Latte
- Grab your blender and ingredients.
- Add the milk, matcha powder, powdered herbs and optional sweetener in the blender.
- Blend together. (If using a frothing wand, blend in a cup with the wand!)
- Add to a cup with ice and stir.
